Living Legends

On December 9, 2009, BronxWorks honored three great individuals for their ongoing contributions to the Bronx community. Together the stories of these three individuals reflect the richness of our borough and for that we congratulated them as our 2009 Living Legends! Honorees included Miguel Amadeo, Owner of Casa Amadeo Records, Ted Jefferson, Executive Director of Bronx Shepherds Housing Corporation and Ellen Kolodney, Elder Abuse Coordinator for the Office of the District Attorney, Bronx County. Each honoree received original artwork created by visual artists from the Artisans’ Initiative of the Bronx Council on the Arts.

Thank you to our honorees, supporters and all of the attendees that helped to make the evening another successful celebration!
