BronxWorks runs two food pantries at the Morris Innovative Senior Center and the Heights Neighborhood Senior Center.  Both pantries operate twice a month, once for senior citizens and once for the general community.

The food pantries also accept referrals from local community agencies, clinics, and clergies.  Referrals must speak with director Maria Rivera (contact information below) for approval.

MORRIS INNOVATIVE SENIOR CENTER PANTRY

Please note changes due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic:

  1. Pantry distribution is done Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
  2. Appointments are given in 15 minute intervals.
  3. Seniors and community members Must call (718) 933-5300 for an appointment (date & time) for pantry pick up.
  4. Seniors & Community members must call (718) 933-5300 once they are outside (Morris Ave. side) to pick up pantry.
  5. Only 20 appointments are given daily.

Distribution Method is subject to change.

HEIGHTS NEIGHBORHOOD SENIOR CENTER PANTRY

Please note changes due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic:

Food Pantry for senior citizens AND the community EVERY Thursday starting at 8am

Tickets are passed out around 7:30 a.m.  Pantry bags are distributed starting at 8am while supplies last.
