BronxWorks offers free ESOL classes. These classes provide English-language instruction to help non-native adult English speakers acquire sufficient language abilities to enhance the quality of their lives. Outcomes include entering the workforce, job training or post-secondary education, and improving current jobs, as well as becoming citizens and more productive, integrated community members.

BronxWorks Citizenship classes offer training and preparation for the American Citizenship test as well as providing assistance signing up for a naturalization interview and test.

For more information about ESOL and Citizenship classes, contact Program Coordinator Cheyla Perez.

Services are provided to families living in Community District 4, specifically in zip codes 10452 or 10456. The program connects families to services such as ESOL classes, housing aid, legal immigration services, childcare, and medical care. The program also provides workshops on different subjects such as education, immigration/legal, employment, financial literacy, health, wellness, and more.
