Are you an early learning professional in the Bronx seeking credits towards a master’s degree?  This coming September you will be able to take classes taught by the faculty of Bank Street College at the BronxWorks Carolyn McLaughlin Community Center at 1130 Grand Concourse.  The five-story, 42,500 square foot building, which has an Early Childhood Learning Center, a computer lab, and several classrooms, will offer graduate classes for the autumn 2015 semester.  While ESL, pre-HSE, and HSE instruction have been provided in the classrooms for more than 10 years, this marks the first time that graduate level courses will be offered at the McLaughlin Center, which is one stop north of Yankee Stadium and is easily accessible by public transportation.

“This will be a rewarding partnership for BronxWorks staff and others who are interested in building their knowledge base in the early learning field,” says BronxWorks executive director Eileen Torres.  “Bank Street College is a world-renowned post-secondary educational institution and we look forward to working with them at our McLaughlin Center.”
