BronxWorks has a technician who comes to seniors’ homes and makes minor home repairs such as putting up window shades, replacing door hinges, fixing leaky faucets, replacing smoke alarm batteries, changing light bulbs, installing shelves, and repairing cabinets. The technician also performs security checks of locks, window gates, peepholes, carbon monoxide detectors, and other safety features to make sure seniors stay safe within their homes.
