BronxWorks Senior Centers Closed

UPDATED 3/31/2020

New York City has closed all senior centers. There are no sit-down meals or activities.

Senior centers are no longer distributing Grab-and-Go meals.  Meals will now be delivered by the New York City Department for the Aging.

If you are over the age of sixty (60) and in need of food assistance, please either call 311 and ask for seniors' food assistance or call Aging Connect at (212) 244-6469.

Cornerstone Community Centers

UPDATED 3/25/2020

The BronxWorks Pyramid Cornerstone Community Center is closed.

The following Cornerstone sites are open Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm:

  • BronxWorks Betances Cornerstone Community Center
  • BronxWorks Classic Cornerstone Community Center
  • BronxWorks St. Mary’s Cornerstone Community Center

Programming has been modified and we are limiting the number of children because of social distancing concerns.

Food Resources

In an effort to provide the community with vital services and resources during this time, the BronxWorks Community Health Programs is sharing the numerous food resources available to help those in need. Various restaurants and schools in the Bronx as well as BronxWorks sites are assisting the community by allowing children and families to visit their facilities during different times to receive a meal. Restaurants and food distributions will be assisting their communities as circumstances allow.
